Your kitty(s) must have a current vaccination certificate for Feline Enteritis and Influenza. Please bring the certificate with you on their first day.
Kitty’s cattery can not accept any males over 7 months old which have not been neutered as they can present an infection hazard.
Upon arrival at Kitty’s Cattery all cats will be examined for any signs of ill health. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health. We hope you can appreciate it is our responsibility to safeguard the health of all our residents. If we have accepted your cat with a current medical condition, please ensure all medicines are clearly labelled with their name and dosage. Unfortunately we are currently unable to accommodate diabetic cats who require insulin injections.
Please bring your cat in a suitable carrier. We can not take responsibility for any loss to or from the cattery if this advice is not observed.
Please treat your cats against fleas and worms prior to arrival. However, should it be necessary for your cat(s) to be treated against fleas/worms whilst at the cattery, this will be charged accordingly.
An emergency contact name and telephone number is required whilst your cat is holidaying with us and we do encourage you to inform your own veterinary practice that he/she will be staying with us. If your cat needs any veterinary treatment during their stay, we reserve the right to contact your veterinary practice.
Kitty’s Cattery is fully insured to cover veterinary fees incurred whilst your cat is in our care. Any emergency veterinary care will be administered by our own vets. We can assure you, however, that every care will be given should he/she fall ill whilst in our care.
There is a minimum charge of £30.
Should you collect your cat prior to the agreed collection date, or drop off later than the agreed date, the full booking fee will still be charged.
Payment in full by cash, cheque or bank transfer is required on the day of collection. Unfortunately we are unable to accept payment by debit or credit card.
Any cat(s) which is not collected within 7 days of the departure date and if no communication has been received by the owner or their representative, unfortunately your cat will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for re-homing.
Cancellation Policy – Cancellations made within 72 hours of time of arrival will be asked to pay 100% of the booking fee. This also applies to any no shows.
